7th academic yr: Sri Sri varsity holds fest

The Sri Sri University held a ceremony to mark the 7th academic year on Tuesday, for its undergraduate and post graduate students.

 Seven years since its inception, Sri Sri University has grown from 46 students in its charter MBA batch to more than 2,000 students and staff from almost all over India and seven countries of the world across several fields of study.

The ceremony started with cultural performances by the faculty and students of Performing Arts and Yogic Sciences and an introduction speech by Captain Chandrashekhar Panda, Director of Students Affairs.

Chief guest Higher Education Commissioner cum Secretary Bishnupada Sethi imparteed handy life principles tips to the students.

Member, Board of Governors and president of the university Rajita Kulkarni listed down five points for the students to be followed in life for exceptional success.

She assured the freshers of class 2018 that, they will not only learn in their classrooms but also learn in life lessons in the Campus.

Vice-Chancellor Dr Nand Lal asked the students to not only connect to themselves in this transformational journey but also connect and contribute to the larger society.

He congratulated the new, first year students and wished them luck for the coming years of transformational experience at Sri Sri University.
