Google adds 28 new languages, Make a GIF and other features on Gboard

Internet search giant Google has updated its Gboard app with several new features. The updated features are reflecting in the What's new section of app on Google PlayStore.
Firstly, Gboard will now allow users to add text to 'Make a GIF'. Next up, Google has also added sticker support for 15 new languages. Lastly, the Gboard app now includes 28 new languages namely: Bagri, Batak Toba, Bench, Bhili, Capiznon, Chavacano, Eastern Min, Fiji Hindi, Ge'ez, Gurani, Ingush, Karachay, Khorasani Turkic, Kipsigis, Maharashtrian Konkani, Lezgian, Mizo, Maguindanao, Malay (Brunei), Maranao, Southern Min, Northern Sami, Qashqa'i, Rinconada Bikol, Surjapuri, Tausug, Upper Saxon, Vasavi.
The latest app version 7.14.19.206421213 weighs 142MB in size.
These features were previously part of Beta testing and are now part of the current update.
Last week, Google also released the final developer preview of Android P. This is being done keeping in mind the launch timeline of the next-generation Pixel smartphones which will come with the latest version of Android out-of-the-box. The Android P Developer Preview 5 or beta 4 is the most stable version and you can try it before the final launch next month.
Weighing 51.7MB, the update is for those who are already using the Android P Beta 3. The company claims that it has fixed various bugs with this beta update. Presently, the Android P Beta 4 is available on Google Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL.
With the Android Beta 4 update, the company has removed the microphone icon from the search bar placed at the bottom of the homescreen. Along with this, it has also tweaked the icons for auto-rotate in the notification bar which comes up when a user turn the device. Along with this, Android P also brings some visual changes to the OS such as new look for the settings menu and quick shortcuts from the pull down menu.
