Member of Parliament K. Kavitha said the T-Hub which would come up in Nizamabad would have a special wing called TASK to function as a finishing school that enables students to secure jobs.
It would provide suitable training to youth, especially those who have completed ITI or diploma engineering, to help them get employment. A BPO named Rural Source would come up at Sudhir Reddy Engineering College with 100 employees and it would be inaugurated by IT Minister K.T. Rama Rao on September 30, she said.
The number of employees at Rural Source would increase to 300 in a short time after its launch, Ms. Kavitha said, and disclosed that IT Minister has been making serious attempts to have an airport at Jakranpally. Also, a sports stadium with a swimming pool exclusively for women and another stadium at a cost of ₹9 crore would be built here, Ms. Kavitha said.
Participating in a public meeting along with Mr. Rama Rao, she said work on food processing industry with an outlay of ₹100 crore and a spice park to be built at a cost of ₹42 crore were in progress. She urged the IT Minister to sanction a digital library which would be beneficial for students appearing for competitive examinations at the District Central Library here.
“Telangana should be ruled by those who are from here. And hence, you should participate in every work that the government takes up. Only then will we become participatory democracy,” she said and urged students who were present at the meeting to plant saplings in their respective colleges.
Presiding over the meeting, MLA Bigala Ganesh Gupta said with the establishment of IT Hub, at least 1,000 IT jobs and 3,000 other jobs would be created for local youth. On the occasion, he thanked the IT Minister for sanctioning ₹50 crore for establishing IT Hub. In Nizamabad city, underground drainage with a cost of ₹171 crore was being built, while roads at a cost of ₹150 crore were being laid, he added.
Mr. Gupta appealed to Mr. Rama Rao to sanction a government women’s degree college as well as funds for road over-bridge at Arsapally.
