AGRA: Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader Sadhvi Prachi stoked a fresh controversy by saying that Muslim girls should convert and marry Hindu boys as Islam is a "dangerous religion" that can only destroy their life.
By converting, Muslim girls would save themselves from practices like "triple talaq" and "halala", she said adding that conversion to Hinduism will save them of life long harassment and threat.

While interacting with media persons in Mathura on Tuesday after visiting Banke Bihari temple, Sadhvi said that triple talaq victims should "slap" the clerics who threaten them to follow halala practice and leave the religion.

Reacting over the recent incident of purifying temple with holy water in Hamirpur, after woman BJP lawmaker entered the campus to pray, Sadhvi said that this is "injustice" with women.

"Why anyone has an objection over the entry of a woman in the temple. She can deliver a child, but she is not allowed to pray in the temple. Why so much discrimination," she said adding that this practice should be stopped.

Talking on the issue of construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya, Sadhvi said this is not a "political" issue, however few people were trying to get political mileage from it. She added that Ram temple is actually the belief of crores of people.

"No one can stop construction of the temple in Ayodhya and it will surely be build in 2019," claimed Sadhvi adding that all are waiting for the apex court’s decision in this regards.
