Gaj Yatra, presented by Habitat Photosphere in collaboration with Wildlife Trust of India, is an exhibition of illustrations to raise awareness about elephant conservation. It is created by Rohan Chakravarty, a cartoonist, illustrator and creator of the series Green Humour, India’s first internationally syndicated comic strip. Natya Tarangini celebrates the 22nd edition of Parampara Series, the national festival of music and dance performance by renowned artists. India International Centre (IIC) and Film South Asia, Kathmandu, will be presenting the Documentary Bears Witness: Travelling Film South Asia 2018. The festival presents 12 exceptional non-fiction productions made in South Asia, documenting the lives and stories of South Asians through films from Afghanistan, Burma, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Atul Kumar’s The Company Theatre recreates Hitchcock’s 39 Steps for Indian audience for Aadyam’s premiere. Play Detective Nau-Do-Gyarah, starring Niketan Sharma, Anna Ador among others, is a gangster comedy.
