Medical treatment in remote regions

Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh today said modern and innovative method    in medical sciences can provide treatment in remote regions of the State. Artificial Intelligence, Telemedicine, Biosensor and other kinds of treatment can be put to use. The State Government had put in a master plan to reduce Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) malnutrition, which have yielded remarkable results.  He was addressing ‘MediTech Innovation Summit’ organized jointly by the Health Department and Stanford Bio-Design in India Founders’ Forum. Dr. Raman Singh launched a book ‘Health Technology Innovation in the Indian Context’ and observed the various scientific instruments at the exhibition.

Dr. Raman Singh said he viewed Chhattisgarh as ‘Start-Up’ State. The State had earlier faced many difficulties -IMR, MMR malnutrition-but the authorities implemented innovative ideas to reduce them. The State had launched several experiments in various sectors which yielded sound results during the past 18 years. The Chhattisgarh Government had signed an M.o.U with Stanford University in the year 2016 to implement new techniques in medical sector.
