Asus Zenfone 5Z with 8GB RAM / 256GB ROM goes on sale on Flipkart today

Taiwanese electronics firm Asus launched the Asus Zenfone 5Z earlier this month in India. The smartphone comes in three storage variants -- 6GB RAM + 64GB ROM, 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. They are priced at Rs 29,999, 32,999 and Rs 36,999 respectively.
Till now, only the 6GB variants were offered in India. Now almost a month later, the 8GB RAM variant is up for sale on Flipkart from today. Those wanting to buy the high-end variant of Asus Zenfone 5Z can head to the e-commerce site and avail offers that Flipkart is giving.
Offers on Asus Zenfone 5Z
Under the sale, buyers can avail flat Rs 2,000 off on purchases made using Axis Bank credit and debit cards. In addition, customers will be given extra 5% off with Axis Bank Buzz credit card. Reliance Jio customers, as part of the sale, will be given instant Rs 2,200 cashback and upto 100GB free data on Rs 198 and Rs 299 recharge plans.
EMI options for the smartphone starts from Rs 1,229 per month. Asus Zenfone 5Z (8GB + 256GB) can also be bought at no-cost EMI starting from Rs 4,111 per month.
Asus Zenfone 5Z (8GB RAM) : Specs
As far as the specs are concerned, the smartphone has similar specs to other variants. The smartphone features a notched display with 1080 x 2246p screen resolution. It comes with a 6.2-inch full HD+ Super IPS+ display with 90% screen to body ratio and an aspect ratio of 19:9.
Asus Zenfone 5Z is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 with Adreno 630 GPU. The device runs company’s ZenUI 5.0 operating system based on Android 8.0 Oreo. As stated above, the smartphone comes in three different storage variants.
On the camera front, Asus Zenfone 5Z features an 8MP camera with f/2.0 aperture and 84-degree field of view. On the rear panel, the smartphone has a dual rear camera setup that includes a 12MP Sony IMX363 sensor with f/1.8 aperture and an 8MP secondary camera with 120-degree wide angle lens.
The device is backed by a AI integrated battery of 3300mAh with fast charge support.
