Infosys to set up Rs 750-crore Noida centre

LUCKNOW: Technology company Infosys on Sunday announced setting up a software development centre in Noida. Following the announcement, Prime Minister Narendra Modi felicitated the company in Lucknow.
Infosys will invest Rs 750 crore to build the 2.7-million square feet facility with an accommodation for a staff of 5,000. The state government has allocated 27.5 acre land in Noida for the project.

Infosys CEO and MD Salil Parekh said, "The upcoming centre is a part of our effort to enhance our presence in NCR " Singapore-based RSP Design Consultants will design the facility which aims to get a LEED Platinum rating, the highest certification for a green building, given by the US Green Building Council.
