Didn't find your name in final Assam NRC list? Here's what you should do

Nearly 2.9 crore citizen in Assam have made it into the final draft list of National Register of Citizens released today. But names of about 40 lakh people have been left out the list. If you are one of those who have been left out, you don't have to worry. You still have a chance to present your case as government has announced the process to rectify the list.

Here is a guide to raise a complaint:
  • The claim process will start from August 30 and continue till September 28 in which you can submit your claim in the prescribed form
