KOLKATA: The State Public Works Department has launched a WhatsApp number where citizens can send complaints regarding bad road conditions.

The number designated for the purpose is 9073362000 and it is applicable for anywhere in Bengal.

If a person notices any problem with any road 'big roads or small lanes' and even culverts, flyovers, overbridges, etc., contacting this number will ensure help.

With this step, the West Bengal Government has once again reiterated its commitment towards citizen-centric governance.

It will be much easier for people to alert the administration about any damage to roads, buildings or bridges in their area.
