With modern sport placing more of an emphasis on fitness than ever, the Yo-Yo test has become an intrinsic part of modern cricket.

Clearing the Yo-Yo test has become mandatory to be a part of the Indian cricket team and ahead of the five-match series against England, the hosts have also taken it upon themselves to clear the test and stay in prime shape.

While James Anderson manages to run between both points without effort, Cook clearly felt the effects of the test and almost collapsed at the end of it.

He was then patted on the back by teammates in a bid to get him to pick himself up off the ground.

The test, which is meant to test both the strength and the stamina of the players, involves intense running drills between two points.

Players like Ambati Rayudu and Sanju Samson have found themselves being dropped despite being in good form after failing to get the required score of 16.1.
