Senior Constable suspended, investigated for inappropriate access of police systems
A 44-year-old detective senior constable from the Queensland Police state crime command who was stood down from official duties has now been suspended from duty.
The officer was previously stood down and performed non-operational duties.
The senior constable is being investigated regarding access of the police QPrime computer system for a purpose unrelated to official duties, releasing information, failing to take reasonable action, and failing to declare an association and untruthfulness.
Queensland Police said the suspension did not mean the allegations had been substantiated.
