Cyber crime cell arrests member of Delhi gang

Cyber crime cell has nabbed a woman member of a gang from Delhi involved in duping victims through fake website www.shinework.in in the name of facilitating jobs in renowned companies; two members of the gang were nabbed on July 21.  Police said that based on the information about the woman gang member provided by the earlier nabbed two accused she was traced in Delhi and recovered documents from his possession.

The documents recovered from Sofia reveals that the gang have duped numerous people from Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, Punjab and other states to the tune of around Rs 1 crore.

Earlier Vishal Goswami and Ajay Kumar were nabbed in connection to the crime in which www.shinework.in was made to cheat the victims and were offered to facilitate jobs in better companies with high salaries. The victim was asked to pay Rs 10 for the registration and once the victim would register additional amount based on the balance in victim’s account was withdrawn fraudulently by the accused.  One of the Bhopal based victim opted for registration and entered details of credit card for making payment of Rs 10 an amount of Rs 10010 was deducted from her account after which she lodged a complaint and based on the complaint accused were tracked and nabbed.

Three accused are still absconding and search for the three has been intensified by the police. Police found that the accused were well aware of cyber frauds and used the same in the crime.
