Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter are gaining humongous appreciation from critics and fans for their performance in the film ‘Dhadak’. This is a second movie of Ishaan and debut movie of Janhvi. In an interview with Bollywood life when the actors were asked about their future project and what next after Dhadak, they were silent and did not give away anything about their future projects. “You know I’d always hear people say, “It’s in the pipeline” and “we are still in talks” and “you will hear about it soon” and they make it, always, sound phoney. But… it’s true,” Janhvi said.
“You always become the person you think you never would,” Shashank said to pull her leg. “We are in the talks right now,” Janhvi concluded. “I hope they get the kind of work they deserve,” Shashank concluded as he spoke on their behalf.
The team is currently celebrating the success of Dhadak. The rumours are that Janhvi’s younger sister Khushi is also Bollywood-ready. During a recent conversation, when Boney Kapoor was asked if Khushi plans to join Bollywood, he told an entertainment portal, “I wouldn’t say that I motivated Janhvi. I encouraged her to let her do what she wants. Why curb someone’s natural instincts? Like for one, I didn’t know until Salman (Khan) told me that Arjun has it in him to become an actor. On the other hand, my eldest child, Anshula is extremely academically inclined. And Khushi first wanted to become a model – but has now shifted her focus to becoming an actress.”
