Celebrity showstoppers who dazzled on the ramp last week

The Fashion Design Council of India hosted a huge fashion week recently and today, we have brought you all the gorgeous celebrity looks, fresh off the ramp. From Kangana Ranaut to Kareena Kapoor Khan and Shilpa Shetty Kundra, our divas turned showstoppers for their favourite designers and walked the ramp in some ostentatious outfits, giving us glamour, poise and a whole lot of style. Here's a round-up of our favourite celebrity showstoppers from a fashion event that took place in the past week in Delhi.

2/7Aditi Rao Hydari for Tarun Tahiliani

Aditi graced the ramp for Tahiliani and looked every bit like the modern Indian bide. Working the showstopper outfit from the designer's collection, In Elysium, Aditi was seen in an off-shoulder lehenga featuring a semi-sheer, cape-styled dupatta with a long train. Her outfit further had floral embroidery all over it with fringes on the hemline. A traditional choker and flowers in her hair rounded off her look.

3/7Kangana Ranaut for Anju Modi

Kangana Ranaut walked the runway for designer, Anju Modi. Looking every bit Victorian, she was seen working a beige lehenga with a touch of golden sheen teamed with a matching choli. The voluminous ensemble was styled with a longline velvet jacket in maroon that gave it a regal touch. The cut-out sleeves of the jacket lent the look that interesting contemporary twist. Ranaut’s outfit was accessorised with a delicate, tiered diamond necklace and a matching chain finger-bracelet. Her headgear was rather pretty too!

4/7Kareena Kapoor Khan for Falguni Shane Peacock

The star of the evening, Kareena graced the ramp for designers, Falguni and Shane Peacock at the fashion event. Kareena walked on the ramp in a glimmering, champagne-hued lehenga. "When you wear something by Falguni and Shane, it makes you feel sexy, and I think that’s why women love their clothes so much," said Kareena whilst talking about her outfit at the event. The plunging neckline outfit was teamed with a semi-sheer dupatta that had the duo’s signature feather twist incorporated in it.

5/7Shilpa Shetty Kundra for Amit Aggarwal

Amit showcased his couture 2018 collection, Crystalis at the fashion event and showstopper, Shilpa dazzled on the ramp in a radiant plum outfit which was holographic in its approach and was meant to catch the colours of the entire collection. In the modern and eclectic piece, Aggarwal's muse wowed. This lehenga is for the bride who isn't scared to experiment. We absolutely love the goth blouse though!
