FALL RIVER — Two people were arrested after police executed a search warrant and found crack cocaine.

According to police, detectives from the Vice and Intelligence Unit executed the warrant at 188 E. Main St., apt. 1, around 7:30 p.m. on July 25. Approaching the location, Detective Richard Aguiar witnessed Elijah Alexander Sapp, 20, in front of the resident. After Aguiar announced who he was and displayed his badge, Sapp when into the apartment, where he was later located in the kitchen. Police also located Wendy Amaral in the living room.

During a search, police located a baggie containing a small white rocky substance believed to be crack cocaine in a bureau containing both men’s and women's clothing. Behind a television was another baggie believed to be crack cocaine. Approximately 2.3 grams of suspected crack cocaine was recovered in total.

Both Sapp and Amaral were charged with possession of a Class B substance.
