Raj: Scheme launched for awareness on menstruation among girls

The government today launched a hygiene management scheme to create awareness on the among girls in the state.

"Awareness for the hygiene will be created via schools and anganwadi centres through various activities. The girls will also be provided sanitary napkins," Women and said.

She said there was a need to break the menstruation taboo in the society and schools can be a good platform for that.

The schemes for ODF continuity and cleanliness survey (rural)-2018 were also launched at the event.
