Naxal posters in Bokaro Thermal areas

High alert has been sounded in naxal infested Nawadih and Bokaro thermal areas of Bokaro district in Jharkhand after unknown naxalites on July 28 pasted dozens of posters in Uparghat area under Nawadih block, Pilpilo and Kanjkiro more, within limits of Bokaro Thermal police station.

The posters supporting the Maoist cause and opposing the ongoing operation against naxalites in the areas justified their ideology and resolve to fight against exploitative class and security forces.

The posters were also placed in Upar Ghat areas under in Nawadih block including Kanjkiro, Naeainpur, Harladih Penk, Guniyato, Bansi and Pipradih villages. The Inspector cum Officer In-charge (OC) of Bokaro Thermal police station P Leyangi stated that the posters were removed while operation against naxalites and long range patrolling is continuing in Upar Ghat and Bermo areas of Bermo sub-division of Bokaro district.

Though the posters were removed by security forces Bokaro SP Kartik S has sounded high alert in this connection ordering for a close watch on all entry and exit routes of the aforesaid places. Talking to media persons the SP stated the naxalites are just trying to make their presence felt by pasting posters during late night hours but actually they have become very weak. Security forces are keeping a close watch on the areas concerned, said the SP.
