Man falls to death in Saputara while taking selfie

SURAT: A 39-year-old man from Vijapore in Navsari died after falling into a gorge while taking selfie with a friend in Saputara on Monday.
The victim Chandrasinh Jadav lost his balance and fell into the deep gorge at Table Top, the highest point of this hill station. Jadav had gone to Saputara with his five friends. “He lost balance while taking selfie and fell into the gorge,” said M G Dive, assistant police inspector, Surgana in Nashik district. The case of accidental death was registered at Surgana because the body had fallen into the territory of Maharashtra. The spot from where the deceased fell happens to be last point of Gujarat border’s with Maharashtra.
