TRICHY: Two youths and a teenager drowned while bathing in the swollen
Cauvery river here on Sunday.
The deceased have been identified as Sasi, 19, Sasikumar, 25, and Vignesh, 14. The trio hailed from Villupuram district.
Fire and rescue services personnel recovered the bodies of Sasi and Sasikumar. Search was on to recover Vignesh’s body.
The incident happened in Thiruvalarsolai area around noon.
On Saturday, a youth identified as G Jose Kunal, 19, drowned in the
Kollidam river near Kiliyur village.
