Govt engineering students hold cleanliness drive

Students of Government Engineering College, situated in Sejbahar area of capital city Raipur, on Saturday cleaned their college campus. These students even went door to door in Sejbahar village, collected garbage. They also gave the message of maintaining surroundings clean to villagers.

Principal of Government Engineering College, Raipur informed that 50 students of the college have got their registrations done for Clean India Summer Internship 2018 initiated by Government of India. These students have chosen Gram Panchayat Sejbahar and Datrenga for working 100 hours for cleanliness.

Under the guidance of In-charge Officer D K Markam, students of the college made different teams and visited various wards. They went door-to-door and told people about wet and dry waste management. They also cleaned all the public places. They also motivated students of Primary School Sejbahar to maintain cleanliness both in school and residence.
