MUMBAI: Social activist and anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare has announced that he would launch hunger strike from October 2 against the union government for the delay in appointment of Lokpal and has appealed people to join him in his agitation.
"The government lacks the will to fight out corruption and hence it is delaying the process of appointment of the Lokpal," Hazare said and added that he would start his hunger strike at the Yadavbaba temple in his village RaleganSiddhi in Ahmednagar district of Western Maharashtra.
