Grandparents’ Day celebrated at SBPS

The dawn of SBPS witnessed the most awaited celebrationVatsalyam-2018 on Saturday by the pupils of grade II. The programme commenced with Shloka and Maitrybandhan of the guests followed by lighting of ceremonial lamp by Chief Guest IG, Shambhu Thakur, Special Guest Rajdeo Singh Yadav, School Head P&A Pradip Varma, Principal Paramjit Kaur, along with the other dignitaries. A captivating cultural programme took place on the occasion.

The Chief Guest appreciated the unique initiative taken by the school to inculcate values in the children. He suggested the parents and grandparents to communicate with their children on regular basis and let them choose the stream of their choice.

School Head Personnel & Admin. Pradip Varma praised the efforts of the pupils and said that SBPS always aims to develop the moral values of the children along with academic excellence and through such celebrations we endeavour to strengthen the bond between the grandparents and their grandchildren. Principal Paramjit Kaur appreciated the hard work of the teachers, parents and the little kids and said that through this celebration we take opportunity to express love and respect towards the elderly people in the society and to pass on thebaton of culture tothe coming generation.
