The MGR Nagar police on Friday arrested a 25-year-old youth who celebrated his birthday with his friends by cutting a cake with a machete in a public place. Sathish, 25, a resident of Jafferkhanpet, is employed in a pharma company. It was his dream to celebrate his birthday in the style of ‘rowdies’ as shown in films.
Satish, on his birthday which fell on July 25, bought a cake, placed it on his bike and cut it using a machete in the presence of his friends. The video of his birthday celebration went viral on social media platforms. Sathish was remanded in judicial custody.
