Damaged houses to be razed in Nehru Colony

Damaged houses of Nehru Colony situated in Ward-28 of Bhopal city will be razed and new houses will be constructed in their place. The inmates of these houses will be rehabilitated in transit houses till the new houses are constructed.

These houses are of Municipal Corporation. Revenue, Science and Technology Minister Umashankar Gupta instructed for prompt action after inspecting the damaged houses.

Gupta told to shift inmates of 8 houses first. Later other families should be shifted after arrangement is made and then the construction of new houses should begin. The houses of Ramesh, Siyaram Parse, Ramlal, Deepak Dhoulpurkar, Gajram Chouhan, Santosh Paroche, Bhagwan Singh and Ashok Paroche are damaged.

Gupta said basic facilities should be provided to these families where they are shifted temporarily. Chairman of Mati Kala Board Ramdayal Prajapati and other public representatives were also present on the occasion.

Meanwhile, Minister Umashankar Gupta has told to settle the cases related land allotment obtained from various departments soon.

In case of any shortcomings in the proposal, the shortcoming should be promptly checked and removed by the concerned officer.

Land to build water tank and water filter was allotted to Krishi Upaj Mandi Samiti, Ashoknagar, Nagar Parishad Petlawad, Jhabua district at the meeting. In addition, the Airport Authority of India was given land in Chhota Bangarda and Sirpur in Indore district. Principal Secretary Revenue Arun Pandey and other officials were present at the meeting.
