2 Falmouth officers shot; state police units responding

FALMOUTH — Massachusetts State Police patrol, tactical, investigative and forensic units are responding to assist local police in the response to the shooting of two Falmouth police officers Friday shortly before 7 p.m., according the a state police press release.

Both officers are being transported to hospitals. A suspect was also shot in the incident and is also being transported, according to state police.

State police reported that the situation was fluid and that more information would be available as the situation progresses.
