The two-day training classes for rural journalists of the erstwhile undivided district began at the Vijayalaxmi Gardens at Vinayaknagar here on Saturday.
The Telangana State Media Academy chairman Allam Narayana inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp. MLCs R. Bhoopathi Reddy and Akula Lalitha, the Collector M. Ram Mohan Rao, TUWJ State leaders Syed Ismail, Maruthi Sagar, J. Ganesh, G. Ramgopal, B. Srinivas, district president Narsimha Chary and secretary Bhoopathi (Nizamabad), Bhaskar and A. Raju (Kamareddy) and TEMJU leaders Vignesh and Dhanunjay attended the inaugural session.
