Chandigarh, July 27: The Punjab rural development and Panchayat department has initiated probe against its two gazetted officers for supporting ‘Referendum 2020’. The Minister Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa has directed to his Financial Commissioner to investigate the matter, who has received the latter in this regard, today. These were the allegations that a woman Officer had been putting matter in support of referendum-2020, in the social media. While she and her brother has allegedly got two jobs under the terrorist victim’s family category by deceiving rules. One has been working in Barnala district and other is in Patiala district.According to information, the lady officer had started to put the videos in her Facebook account for supporting referendum 2020 in the end of December 2016. Although the previous Government was ready to take action against her, but the process of Assembly election had prevented to take action. Her Facebook account revels her ideology, which is entirely against the present Government and previous Government also. She has been sent to line in the department as punishment two times, one in present Government as well as in previous Government. Her posts also reveal that she had no faith in Political, Administrative and Judicial system.Number of complaints has been sent against her to the Government. Her father had been killed by the terrorists in 1990 and on the behalf of terrorist victim family, one job was to be given in the family, but she and her brother, allegedly got two jobs. Talking to Daily Post, the Minister Bajwa told that the matter has been forwarded for probe. Interestingly, her brother, who has been working his duty in Patiala district, had been sent to line as punishment on July 11, but after five days, he has been restored on the same post. When contacted for her reaction, she denied charges, but told that she had posted some posts in her Facebook, which were related to the dignity of her religion. Her brother also told that he had no mean with Referendum -2020. He also told that he had got his job on terrorist victim category, but her sister had got her job on handicapped quota.
