‘Chalo Jeete Hain’, truly inspirational movie, says Lok Sabha Speaker

A short film ‘Chalo Jeete Hain’ was screened in the presence of Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan, Union Minister of Home Affairs Rajnath Singh; Union Minister of External Affairs Sushma Swaraj; Union Minister of Chemicals & Fertilizers and Parliamentary Affairs Ananth Kumar; former Deputy Prime Minister and Chairperson, Ethics Committee (Lok Sabha) L. K. Advani; Members of Parliament and other dignitaries in the Balayogi Auditorium, Parliament Library Building on Thursday.

Addressing the gathering after screening of the film, Ms Mahajan said that today on the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas, the short film gives a strong message that only those who think for the good of their fellow beings can, in real sense, do great things for the nation. This was truly an inspirational movie and conveys an important message for all us to dedicate our lives for the larger benefit of others in our society, she added.

The 32-minute film inspired by the early life of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is directed by Mangesh Hadawale and produced by Mahaveer Jain and Bhushan Kumar. It revolves around a boy called Naru, who is inspired by the words and ideals of Swami Vivekananda that “Wahi jeete hain jo doosron ke liye jeete hain”.
