A 23-year-old youth was attacked by a bear on his face at Doddanarasayyanapalya in Koratagere taluk of Tumakuru district on Saturday.
Assistant Conservator of Forests Nagaraj said he has suffered injuries on his face and the bear has torn his eyebrows.
Dinesh had gone to relieve himself in the open field when the bear attacked him around 6.30 a.m.
Dinesh has been admitted to Tumakuru district government hospital.
