HYDERABAD: A 55-year-old woman was brutally murdered allegedly by her husband at Malkajgiri on Thursday midnight, while in another incident, a man’s body was found stuffed in a drum at Jeedimetla. Police suspect the man could have died of some health issues at some other location and his body was dumped at the spot.

According to Malkajgiri police, K Laxmi, along with her husband Venkatesh and four kids were residing in Goutham Nagar colony at Malkajgiri. On Thursday, after Venkatesh came home, an argument broke between the couple, during which Venkatesh picked up an electric motor, which was not in use and hit Laxmi on her head with the motor, due to which she received a severe head injury and died on the spot said Ramesh, SI, Malkajgiri police station.
