BHOPAL:
College level counselling (CLC) for taking admission in engineering and
polytechnic courses will start from July 31.
According to officials, online registration will be done from July 31 to August 1. Students will have to be present at 10.30 am on August 2 for admission in the desired college. Online registration for seat that remains vacant after first phase of CLC will be done from August 3 to 5.
Admission in desired college will take place on August 6. Online registrations for vacant seats will take place from August 7 to 9 and students will have to be present on August 10 for admission in desired college.
For the remaining seats, the registrations will take place from August 11 to 13. Students will have to be present on August 14 for admission in college. Counselling will be done for admission in first year in courses in diploma-engineering, PPT/non-PPT/Ambedkar-Enkalvya Yojana.
This is for courses being run in all government, autonomous, grant-aided, self-financed, polytechnic and engineering colleges of the private sector across the state. Applicants who have registered for college counselling have to register their presence at the desired college between 10.30 am to 12.00 noon to get an opportunity for admission.
Admission will be given on merit basis in the order of qualification in diploma Engineering first in the PPT-2018 entrance examination, and later in case of vacancy available, on the basis of merit in the order of qualification as per the marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
In the diploma (non-PPT) courses, admission process will be based on the qualifying examination. Admission will be based on qualifying examination in diploma courses under the
Dr Baba Saheb Ambedkar or
Eklavya Yojana. Candidates will have to get registered separately for admission in the first year.
