Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Up for Pre-Order in India: Price, Editions, Beta, and More

Highlights

  • Black Ops 4 pre-orders at local retail are for PS4 and Xbox One
  • PC version seems to be limited to Battle.net alone
  • The Black Ops 4 Pro Edition is for PS4 only

The Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 beta release date is August 3 and in the run up to this India pre-orders for the game are now live at game stores across the country. Expect Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 pre-orders to go live on sites like Amazon, Flipkart, and Games The Shop shortly. If you were hoping to pre-order the game on PC, you might be in for a surprise. Multiple retailers speaking to Gadgets 360 have confirmed that the game will only be available on PS4 and Xbox One. What this means is, there is no physical version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 at retail. If you want Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 on PC, you’ll have to buy it on Battle.net — Blizzard’s PC client. That said, here’s what you’ll be paying for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 in India.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 India price

  • Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 standard edition (PS4 and Xbox One) - Rs. 4,499
  • Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Specialist Edition (PS4 and Xbox One) - Rs. 4,799
  • Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Pro Edition (PS4 only) - Rs. 9,999

The Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Pro edition includes the game, the Black Ops Pass, four additional Zombies experiences, 12 multiplayer maps, and four Blackout (Black Ops 4’s take on battle royale) characters. There’s a steelbook, pop socket, 10 specialist patches, three Black Ops 4 Zombies art cards, and 1,100 Call of Duty Points.

As for the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Specialist Edition, it has 1,100 Call of Duty Points, an exclusive steel case, and additional bonus content, details of which are unknown at the moment. And yes, it also comes with the base game. No sign of the $199 (around Rs. 13,660) Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Mystery Box Edition for India. Given its steep price, it will be interesting to see if it makes it here. Though sources in the supply chain have told Gadgets 360 that it seems unlikely.

If you're residing in India and want access to the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 multiplayer beta, your best bet would be to pre-order the game digitally. As per the stores we've spoken to, it is unknown if you’d get access to the first beta by pre-ordering the game right now. On PS4, buying the game digitally costs Rs. 3,999 for the standard edition, Rs. 6,499 for the digital deluxe edition, and Rs. 8,325 for the digital deluxe enhanced edition.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 beta date, start time, and end time

At the moment there's no exact dates for the second beta just yet aside from Treyarch stating it would happen in September and on PS4 first. This second beta in September would focus on Blackout - Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's battle royale mode.

In addition to this, all Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 beta participants will get a "unique, one-of-a-kind calling card that they can proudly display" according to Treyarch. The Private Multiplayer Beta will feature fan-favorite game modes like Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint, and Search and Destroy, alongside a brand-new objective-based game mode, Control, which was designed to bring out the best of Black Ops 4 multiplayer gameplay.
