Mumbai: The Shiv Sena is leaving no stone unturned in its effort to embarrass the BJP. Now, Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray has announced a ‘Chalo Ayodhya, Chalo Varanasi’ drive to tease the BJP.

Thackeray indicated in an interview that he is going to visit Uttar Pradesh and Sena officials put up hoardings saying ‘Chalo Ayodhya, Chalo Varanasi’ at various places in Mumbai. There is no one’s photo on the hoardings except Uddhav Thackeray, Aditya Thackeray and Shiv Sena secretary and Thackeray’s personal assistant Milind Narwekar.

This hoarding raised eyebrows of Mumbaikars. Earlier, hoardings by the BJP had depicted Lord Rama and a scene from the river Ganga’s ghat.

This is a significant move to hijack the Hindutva agenda from the BJP.
