INDIAN Railway RETROFITTED COACH OF PASSENGER TRAIN WITH FLEXIBLE SOLAR PV PANELS ON ITS ROOF

Shri Ravindra Gupta, Member Rolling Stock/Railway Board inaugurated 1st Non Air Conditioned (NAC) coaches of passenger train retro-fitted with Flexible Solar P.V Panels on its to operate the fans, light and mobile charging arrangement at Safdarjung Railway Station, New Delhi on 24.07.2018. On this occasion, the Senior Officers of Railway Board, Indian Railway Qrganization for Alternate Fuels (IROAF), Northern Railway & M/s CEL were also present.

Gurmeet Singh takes over as Director (Marketing), IndianOil

Mumbai, 26th July 2018: Gurmeet Singh has taken charge as Director (Marketing), IndianOil - the country's largest commercial enterprise and the top-ranked Indian corporate in Fortune's 'Global 500' listing. Prior to his elevation, Mr. Singh was Executive Director handling the complex and dynamic LPG vertical at IndianOil's Marketing Division Headquarters in Mumbai.

Prof. Nageshwar Rao joins as the Vice Chancellor of IGNOU

Prof. Nageshwar Rao has joined as the Vice Chancellor of Indira Gandhi National Open University, the largest Open University in the world. Prof Rao was Vice Chancellor of Uttarakhand Open University (UOU) prior to this appointment. He was acting VC of IGNOU earlier from 28th November 2014 to 28th April 2016 and was also Pro Vice Chancellor, Indira Gandhi National Open University New Delhi from December 2013 to November 2014.

“HARI T DIWAS” CELEBRATED WITH ENTHUSIASM AND FERVOR OVER NORTHERN RAILWAY MASSIVE TREE PLANTATION DRIVES CONDUCTED IN ALL DIVISIONS Northern Railway celebrated “Harit Diwas” today, as a part of its social responsibility & commitment to create a greener and cleaner environment by conducting a massive tree plantation drive over its five Divisions where over 3.5 lakh saplings were planted. About 50 thousand plants were planted in Delhi Division alone .
