Twenty-four peacocks were found dead in two districts of Telangana within a span of ten days.
The birds were found dead in Jogulamba Gadwal and Nagarkurnool districts of Telangana.
The forest officers of the districts came to a possible conclusion and said, "We suspect peacocks have fed the crops on which poisonous pesticides were used by the farmers to protect them from insects."
However, the actual reason behind the deaths can only be explained after a post-mortem.
