Chhatarpur, MP, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan slipped while descending from the stage at this district’s Chandla.
Mr Chouhan was here yesterday as a part of his ongoing ‘Jan Ashirwad Yatra.’ He was coming down from the stage after delivering a speech when the incident took place due to scanty light.
However, the Chief Minister escaped unhurt even as security personnel and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers rushed to help him.
Later, while addressing a public meeting at Maharajpur, he announced the setting up of the Paan Vikas Nigam and opening up of an ITI college. He lambasted the Congress for pathetic condition of roads during its regime and pointed out that the situation has changed drastically at present.
