Salem, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami on Friday said ‘there is no difference of opinion between him and Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam’. ‘We are working together’, Mr Palaniswami said while talking to reporters here.
He said ‘unnecesarily news has been spread without any truth about them and they (CM and Deputy CM) are working together. He said his party AIADMK is ready to face elections at any time’.
He said as per the High Court Order the government has increased the Property Tax in the state.
To a question, he said 95 per cent of land acquisition has been completed for express greenway eight line road project between Chennai and Salem.
He said he enquired with Deputy Chief Minister and Ministers about Mr Karunanidhi’s health and they said the DMK Patrairch is in good healh.
Mr Palaniswami said Karnataka will release Cauvery water to Tamil Nadu as per the Supreme Court order every month and added the government has sufficient stock of fertilizers to the needy farmers.
