China, ease of doing business, jobs: What Imran Khan told Pakistan

Pakistan's cricketer-turned politician Imran Khan's Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf emerged as the single largest party in the National Assembly. In his address to the nation from Islamabad Khan listed out the priorities for the country as he takes the hot seat.
"I thank god for giving me a chance to serve Pakistan after 22 year struggle that started in 1996," he said.
"I had everything and politics had nothing more to offer me but 22 years back I joined politics to as I saw the country going down due to corruption."
Khan, whose PTI party trounced the opposition parties, said that he wanted to see pakistan to become a country what Jinnah had dreamed.
He lamented that Pakistan has become a country of the mighty ones
Khan promised that his government will work for the poor.
"Farmers are not paid for their hard work, 25 million children are out of school, our women continue to die in childbirth because we can't give them basic healthcare, we can't give the people clean drinking water to people. A country is not recognised by the lifestyle of the rich, but by the lifestyle of the poor. No country that has an island of rich people and a sea of poor people can prosper," he added.
Talking about Pakistan's economy, he said that the country is facing its biggest economic challenge.
Here's what else he said at his press conference.
We want to have better relations with China.
