NTPC receives Award for Excellence in Power creation

NTPC was awarded at the Dun & Bradstreet Corporate Awards 2018 for Excellence in Power Generation at a function held in New Delhi. The award was presented by Shri Bibek Debroy, Chairman, Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister and Member, NITI Aayog, Government of India to Shri Prakash Tiwari,Director (Operations).

DMRC organises tree plantation drive

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), organised a tree plantation drive under the ‘Swachh Chetna -  DMRC Eco Club’ initiative on 25th July 2018 at the Ajronda Staff Quarters at Faridabad in the presence of Dr. Mangu Singh, MD/DMRC and other senior DMRC officials. About 300 students from the schools of Faridabad and Gurugram namely D.C.Model Sr. Sec. School, Faridabad, The Shri Ram School, Moulsari and The Shri Ram School, Aravali participated in this campaign.

DMRC will plant 20,000 saplings in the month of July and August this year in its maintenance depots, staff quarters, stations and under the viaduct. The ‘Swachh Chetna’ initiative is aimed towards spreading greater awareness about the protection of environment as well as the importance of maintaining cleanliness.
