NEW DELHI: Rain continued to lash Delhi-NCR till Friday morning, affecting traffic in several parts of the region.
Traffic was affected at Ghazipur Murga Mandi and from Badarpur to Mehrauli due to waterlogging. The traffic was also hit under Modi Mill flyover in Delhi.



Waterlogging was reported from several areas on Thursday night including Loni Gole Chakar and Khajuri Chowk at Wazirabad Road, under the Modi Mill flyover, Ghazipur Murga Mandi and Mayur Vihar on NH-09, Minto bridge underpass, Mayapuri Chowk, Dwarka Link Road and Mayur Vihar Phase-3.







The maximum temperature on Thursday settled at 28.7 degrees Celsius, six notches below the season's average while the minimum was recorded at 26.0 degrees Celsius, a notch below the normal, said a Met department official.



The Safdarjung observatory, recording of which is considered the official figure for the city, recorded 4.6 mm rainfall till 8.30am and 14.8mm rainfall till 5.30pm.





The rainfall recorded by Palam observatory was 9.3mm till 8.30am. It recorded 10.2mm rains between 8.30am and 5.30pm.
