Uber Eats, an on-demand food delivery app, will go live across key neighbourhoods in the State capital and Thrissur from Thursday.
With over 150 restaurant partners on board, Uber Eats service will be available at Vazhuthacaud, Thampanoor, Pattom, and Ulloor; and Poonkunnam, Thrissur Round, and Kuriachira in Thrissur to begin with.
Food from restaurants such as Paragon, Rajdhani, Supreme Bakers, Azad, Pankayam, and MRA Restaurant will be delivered in Thiruvananthapuram and Csons, India Gate, Ming Palace, Aayush, Ali Baba and 41 dishes, in Thrissur.
Vartika Bansal, general manager Uber Eats-Kerala and Karnataka, told a press conference here on Wednesday that they were stepping into the two cities on the great response from restaurant partners and consumers to Uber Eats in Kochi.
Launch offer
Uber Eats has its own network of delivery partners and will be charging ₹10 as delivery fee in Thiruvananthapuram and Thrissur.
As a launch offer in the two cities, there will be a flat 50% off on orders across restaurants. On the Uber Eats app, one may schedule the orders to arrive at convenience and get updates as they are prepared.
