Special Task Force busts fake job racket, 7 arrested

LUCKNOW: UP Special Task Force busted a gang duping candidates in the name of providing jobs in government departments and arrested seven members from Gorakhpur on Wednesday. Those arrested were identified as Manoj Kumar Singh, Narendra Shukla, Dyanidhi, Vishal Kumar, Vijay Kumar, Vedant Mishra Akhilesh Singh.

Acting on a tip off, the STF arrested them from gate-number-3 of Gorakhpur railway station. The police also recovered fake IDs, appointment letters, seals and stamps of forest department, railways, and pistols apart from an SUV and a car.

SSP STF Abhishek Singh said that the miscreants used to charge Rs 3-5 lakh from interested candidates as per the importance and the demand of department. Once the training of the candidates' finished, the miscreants used to give a confirm letter of government offices in Delhi and Noida to the aspirants. They, then used to change their locations so that they are not traced. tnn
