MATHURA: Bhavana, a girl from Mathura, has written a letter to UP CM
Yogi Adityanath to make arrangements for her to reach school. The girl studying in Class 8 is not able to reach her school due to water-logged streets. The girl belongs to Mathura's
Marhala village.
Raising questions on government's '
beti bachao beti padhao' initiative the girl wrote to the UP CM that on one side government is advertising the glory of 'beti bachao beti padhao' initiative and on the other many girls of Mathura are not able to reach their school because of bad conditions of the roads.
The Girl also stated that the CM must make any kind of arrangements for taking girls to the school until the road is constructed in her village. She has also requested the the CM to get a helicopter arranged for the students so that they can reach office school till there is a good road.
The local villagers while supporting Bhavna's demand said that their village has a single
primary school. Locals said that all students of the village travel to the adjacent Hasanpur village which doesn't have any paved road for travelling. They also said that in rainy season they always face trouble in going to another village but the government despite knowing all this has not taken any notice in this regard .
