Turnover on NSE's F&O segment rises

The Nifty July 2018 traded at 11,129.55, a discount of 2.45 points compared with the Nifty's spot closing of 11,132 in the cash market. The Nifty August 2018 traded at 11,154.15, a premium of 22.15 points compared with the Nifty's spot closing of 11,132 in the cash market.

Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's & options (F&O) segment rose to Rs 9.05 lakh crore, compared with the turnover of Rs 8.74 lakh crore registered in the previous session.

In the cash market, the index fell 2.30 points or 0.02% to settle at 11,132.

Jubilant Foodworks, (RIL) and Tata were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

July 2018 futures traded at 1,391, at a discount from spot closing price of 1,394.30. RIL July 2018 futures traded at 1,114.75, at a premium over spot closing price of 1,112.65. Tata July 2018 futures traded at 1,459, at a premium over spot closing price of 1454.50.

The July 2018 F&O contracts will expire tomorrow, 26 July 2018.
