Weekly review of Jan Samvad matters on cards

Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Raghubar Das, Sunil Kumar Barnwal, has directed several measures to be taken to revamp the CM Jan Samvad cell and settlement of the complaints coming to it in more effective manner.

During a review on Tuesday Barnwal told the officials for merger of the cells and Jan Suvidha Kendras at district level and registration of complaints coming at the portal only so that centralised monitoring can be done. He also hinted to expand the public grievance system by making it open at panchayat level as well.

As many as 18 cases were brought for review through videoconferencing which included non-payment of Rs 3 crore of about 200 hailstorm affected farmers of Kisko block of Lohardaga. The farmers had in 2016 given applications to then Circle Officer for compensation. Barnwal pulling the official present of Disaster Management Department directed him to release the assistance within a week. 

In another matter, he directed medical officer of Ranchi to seal Popular Medical Hall of Ratu Road in Ranchi within 24 hours which is operating despite its license getting expired in December 2017 itself. Land owner had approached the Jan Samvad for vacating the premise.

On the complaint of Prince Kumar Gupta of Dumka, Barnwal directed to sanction the education loan sought by him from SBI’s Haatgamharia branch else to file FIR against the Branch Manager for non-action in a week time. He also told to arrest all the 15 persons named for financial mismanagement taken place at LAMPS of Fatehpur in Jamtara. Direction to handover appointment letter to Upendra Ram has also been given whose father Yamuna Ram had died in 2016 in service.

The officials also took seriously the illegal encroachment taken on Government land at Ramgarh and directed the concerned nodal officer to stop the work immediately and for submitting a report.

In a case related to Ramgarh, some people have illegally occupied government land and constructing house, despite complaining to the Zonal Office, SDO office and the Deputy Commissioner office, encroachment has not been removed even after two years. On this the Secretary instructed the concerned officer to stop the construction work immediately and send report within 24 hours.

Sunita (fictitious name) of Deoghar is missing from November 2016. His family has accused Sintu Kumar for kidnapping. The police are investigating but have not found any clue so far. When asked about this Deoghar DSP told that the police team is continuously interrogating and conducting raids. The secretary instructed to form separate teams and rescue the girl immediately.
