A woman preparing for competitive exams at Delhi’s Mukherjee Nagar was declared dead under mysterious circumstances at a hospital late on Monday night, the police said on Tuesday.
The victim (23), a resident of Gurugram’s Kadipur, checked into a guest house in Sector 46 along with her friend Ravinder on Monday evening instead of going for classes, the police said. Around midnight, Ravinder took her to the hospital, where she was declared brought dead. He fled hospital as soon as he learnt about her death. A murder case has been registered based on a complaint lodged by her father, the police said, adding that the autopsy report is awaited.
