Karnataka govt to hold tech summit in November

government is to organise 'Bengaluru Tech Summit' from November 29 to December 1.

"We will be holding the summit, which would be a global event," for IT/BT, Science andTechnology and Large and Medium Scale Industries K J told reporters here today.

The summit would focus on emerging technologies like and Internet of Things, among others, to IT/said.

He said, "We have changed the focus and brought all kinds of technology like bio-technology, for which global experts and multi-national companies will be invited and discuss on research collaborations, research and development ecosystemthat exist here.

Noting that NITI Ayog would also be participating, Gupta said they were likely to share insights into use of technology for a new that would have a digital economy.

Various corporates, startups and accelerators also were likelyto attend, the officals said, adding that the focus would be more on research, collaboration and product development.
