Chamber of Commerce demands pantry car in Steel Express

The Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry has demanded a pantry car in Steel Superfast Express.  The new LHB rake of the superfast train between two destinations- Tatanagar and Howrah- does not have a pantry car. The train had a pantry car before it got the state-of-the-art LHB coaches.

General secretary of the trade outfit, Vijay Anand Moonka in a letter to the general manager of South Eastern Railway S N Agarwal on Tuesday demanded a pantry car. The LHB coaches include  nine 2nd class chair car(Reserved), six 2nd class chair car (Unreserved), four AC chair cars , one AC first class, one AC three-tier and a power-cum- generator car.  The trade outfit also urged the general manager of SER not to discontinue the AC first class coach which can accommodate 18 passengers.
