‘Bigg Boss was a huge turning point for me’

A former candidate of one of the most known reality shows, Bigg Boss, said that it was a huge turning point for her.

Monalisa aka Antara Biswas was in Bhopal on Tuesday to talk about the upcoming show ‘Nazar’. She will be seen playing a role of a ‘dayaan’ in the show about which she is really excited.

Nazar is an upcoming show on Star Plus which is being produced by Gul Khan’s 4 Lions Film. The production house is famous for producing popular shows like Qubool Hai (Zee TV) and Ishqbaaz (Star Plus).

The show will narrate the story of Monalisa’s character’s girl child which is essayed by Niyati Fatnani being taken care of her grandparents along with a flashback story of how Monalisa’s character turned a ‘daayan’. Nazar will then progress to showing the journey of Niyati’s character’s drawbacks of being a daayan’s child.

Her character’s name is Mohana. Monalisa while sharing about her character with the media persons on Tuesday said, “Mohana as a character is challenging yet one of the enjoyable roles. When she is in her human form she holds a really different personality, the most glamorous one. But, when she is in her dayaan form, she is entirely opposite. Mohana will give shivers to the audience. She will have a long braid, backward facing feet and long nails.”

Elaborating further she said, “The role is really exciting for me to play. I had daily soaps in my to-do list but I really didn’t know that I will get a grand break.”

Apart from Monalisa, Nazar also stars Smita Bansal, Ritu Chaudhary, Harsh Rajput and Niyati Fatnani.
